KELLY BRIDGES, MD
Dr. Bridges developed a passion for Neurosurgery at a young age. She completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she majored in Neurosciences and performed research in complex brain networks. She then completed her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. There, she was formally recognized for her altruism in medicine and received the "Outstanding Student in Neuroscience" award as well as the American Medical Women's Association award for Academic Achievement. After medical school, she attended Oregon Health and Science University for her neurosurgical training, where she worked with critically ill people with complex brain and spine disease. Dr. Bridges also made substantial contributions to neurosurgical research, publishing multiple research articles and giving numerous presentations. In addition, she scored in the top of her class on the written board examination for neurological surgeons.
